Artist Statement

Kelly is a software engineer who currently lives and works in the Cambridge/Boston area while building her art practice on the side. From her childhood through her formal arts education to now, art has always been both a very personal expressive outlet, and a gift to be shared and experienced with others. She is interested in a process of capturing likeness that calls for patient observation and the gradual discovery along the way of a subject's idiosyncrasies.
